Signs of a possible leak
Clues include a sudden water bill increase, a moving meter when water is off, damp areas, unusually green patches, stains, running-water sounds or unexplained pressure loss.

Private plumbing or Council infrastructure?
If the suspected leak is on the private side of the property plumbing, a plumber can investigate it. Problems at or before the meter may need Council attention.
